The retreat at Taronga provided a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The accommodation was lovely and the views were amazing. Waking up to the sight of kangaroos having breakfast below our room was a magical experience. The staff were friendly, helpful, and laid back, making our stay even better. The food was generous and excellent, with breakfast being a particular highlight. The location was perfect, with fine views of Sydney City and Harbour from the restaurant. I highly recommend the Wildlife Retreat at Taronga for an lovely experience.

I stayed at this place recently and had a great time! The location is perfect, just next to the zoo, and the service was top-notch. The welcome drink was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and helpful with tours/ticket assistance. The room amenities were great, especially the air conditioning and tea and coffee facilities. The dining restaurant had a great menu and the staff were fantastic.
Would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

We had a fantastic time at the hotel. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby restaurants through a beautiful neighborhood. The Me-Gal restaurant offered breathtaking views and delicious food. We were lucky enough to see a cassowary up close in the zoo. The room was clean and comfortable, and the service provided was faultless. The breakfast options were varied and satisfying.
The room size was a bit small for a longer stay.

The staff was amazing, going out of their way to assist me, from the zoo ranger leading me to check-in to the hotel staff providing helpful suggestions for our zoo tours. The location was amazing, with fine views of the city and harbor from the restaurant. Waking up to the sight of koalas sleeping outside my room was a lovely experience. The breakfast was delicious and the dinner was superb, especially with the added bonus of the Vivid Light show in the city. The cleanliness of the hotel was great, and the facilities were excellent.
Nothing not to love.

The views were fine, with amazing panoramic vistas of the city. The proximity to the wildlife was a unique experience, being able to see the animals up close and personal. The architecture and interior design of the hotel were excellent and added to the overall aesthetic appeal.
The staff who took care of us were not very skilled or knowledgeable. It was disappointing to see that the zoo itself was in disrepair and lacked a significant number of Australian wildlife.
